The Ministry of Education and Science has prepared a draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers on documents on higher education.
The document sets out a list of the mandatory information that should be included in the higher education and science degree documents.
In particular, the draft decree defines the information to be contained in the bachelor's, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral, doctoral, and doctoral degrees.
Higher education (academic degree) documents of the state standard and the annexes issued earlier will be valid and non-exchangeable.
Comments and proposals for the draft resolution can be sent to: volkova@mon.gov.ua by March 5, 2020.
It is known that in December 2019, the Parliament passed a law on changes in higher education. Legislative changes eliminate the notion of a “state diploma” and, instead, invite higher education institutions to issue higher education documents on the model approved by their own academic council.
