Programs and courses

Kherson State Maritime Academy trains specialists of the marine industry according to such educational programs: Navigation, Marine Engineering, Marine Electrical Engineering. Students can choose part-time or full-time form of study. In KSMA training is conducted in Ukrainian and English (separate English-speaking groups).

Kherson National Technical University is an autonomous higher educational institution of the IV level of accreditation, which trains highly qualified specialists for different branches, prepares scientific personnel, provides training and advanced training of specialists, implements fundamental and applied scientific researches on broad aspects, develops international co-operation with higher educational establishments and enterprises. There are 5 faculties (Faculty of International Economic Relations, Management and Business, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Cybernetics and System Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Transport, Faculty of Integrated Technologies), 26 departments, 20 of which are degree-granting. Educational Process is provided by 341 scientific and pedagogical staff of the University, including 187 candidates of sciences, associate professors, 57 doctors of sciences, professors.

Kharkiv Humanitarian-Pedagogical Academy is one of the oldest higher educational  establishment of Ukraine (1920). The structural units of the Academy are Kharkiv and Krasnohrad colleges and the Balakliyska branch. The academy prepares specialists for the first (bachelor’s), second (master’s) and third (doctor of philosophy) levels. For 99 years of its existence, more than 85,000 highly qualified specialists have been trained in the Academy and its structural units. This is confirmed by numerous reviews, letters of thanks from the heads of educational establishments, offices of Education and departments of Education of the Kharkiv region, Ukraine. There are 16 departments in the Academy which carry out scientific and methodological work in 4 faculties: psycho-pedagogical, pre-school and special education and history, physical education and arts, social pedagogical sciences and foreign philology. The educational process is provided by 188 highly qualified scientific and pedagogical staff, 76% of teaching staff have a degree (Doctor of science and Ph.D.) and an academic title (Professor and Associate professor). Specialists are trained in 15 specialties and 15 specializations: Primary education; Pre-school education; Secondary education (Music); Secondary education (Language and Literature (English); Secondary education (Physical education); Secondary education (Computer Science); Social work; Special education; Physical education and sports; Cultural Studies; Philology; Psychology; History and Archeology; Management, Biology, as well as postgraduate studies in the specialty: 011 Science of education in the specializations: general pedagogy and history of pedagogy, theory and methods of education; 231 Social work in the specialization: social work.

The Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University is one of the leading center of legal education and science in Ukraine. University’s mission is to train professional lawyers, enhance their personal development through promoting core European values, civic responsibility, national identity and tolerance, which meets social, economic and cultural needs of Ukraine and the global community. Today the University formed its own educational approaches and principles: meeting the requirements of the European and world standards of legal education; interdisciplinary cooperation; direct connection with the practice and research results; educational mission in civil society. Currently there are 7 institutes and 6 full-time faculties in the University structure. The University also has evening and two part-time faculties. The University delivers two Joint Master’s degree Programmes: “International Law” and “European and International Business Law”, taught in English, which allow graduates to get degrees of Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, Mykolas Romeris University and University Savoie Mont Blanc (France)according to the program of double - triple diplomas. The University encourages academic mobility of students and lecturers on the basis of bilateral agreements on cooperation with foreign education institutions from the UK, France, Vietnam, Ireland, Spain, Lithuania, Germany, Poland, the USA, Uzbekistan, Sweden and other countries.

V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University is one of the oldest universities of the Eastern Europe. It was founded in November 1804, on the initiative of the prominent educator V.N. Karazin and in accordance with the charter of Emperor Alexander I. Kharkiv University is the only university in Ukraine that has trained and employed three Nobel Prize laureates: the biologist I. Mechnikov, the economist S. Kuznets, and the physicist L. Landau. Since being founded, the University has graduated over 130,000 students. The names of the University graduates are perpetuated in toponyms, names of space objects, plants and minerals, laws and formulas. The University has initiated the whole system of higher education of the Kharkiv Region. The University boasts its wide international recognition as one of the initiators of signing the Magna Charta Universitatum (Bologna, 1998), a co-founder of the Eurasian Universities Association, an active participant of International Association of Universities and European University Association, a training center for about 1500 international students, postgraduate and doctorate students for 50 countries of the world, and a partner in research and educational cooperation with more than 100 universities and other organizations all over the world.

Ukrainian State University of Railway Transport is a modern higher school which is internationally acknowledged in the field of education and research. The departments of the university – Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Economic, Traffic Management, and Automation, Telemechanics and Communication - teach students in various specialties to work at the railways and in other industries: IT, construction, logistics etc. In The four academic buildings of the University there are laboratories with the state-of-the-art equipment, scientific and technical library containing 1.5 million volumes, media library, computer centers, gymnasium and student hostels.

Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy is the only Ukrainian state institution of higher education that offers training for specialists who can work both in the field of education and in industry. Technologies for distance learning on the Moodle platform are widely used in the educational process. All subjects are supplied with distance learning courses, which hold various teaching materials, assignments and tests.

The Interregional Academy of Personnel Management is the largest non-governmental higher education institution in Ukraine with more than 22,000 students.
IAPC was founded in 1989. (Kyiv) as a higher educational and research institution.
The Academy has Level IV accreditation in all licensed specialties.
According to the results of the Ranking of the Higher Educational Institutions of Ukraine, "Sophia Kyivska" IAUP was recognized as the best non-governmental institution of Ukraine and the best institution of management.
Among the graduates of the Academy are the heads of state committees and deputy ministers, deputies and mayors, diplomats, top officials of the Presidential Office of Ukraine, rectors of universities and school directors, businessmen and military leaders. The Hon. Prof. M. S. Kharkiv Research Institute of Forensic Examinations of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine is the leading state specialized forensic institution of Ukraine and only one among these institutions that received a license for educational activities in higher education at the third (scientific and educational) level and created a specialized academic council according to the field of specialization: 081 Law for obtaining PhD degree. At the institute, there are postgraduate and doctoral studies, as well as a specialized Academic Council for conferring the PhD degree in Law in according to the following fields of specialization: 12.00.07 Administrative Law and Process, Financial law, Information Technology Law; 12.00.09 Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics, Forensic Science, Criminal intelligence. The Institute collaborates with Forensic Science institutions in Europe and Asia.

Our college is unique multi-disciplinary powerful Higher educational establishment of first level of accreditation of Kharkov, placed at the center of the city. It conducts training at full-time and part-time forms of studying, has the license for training the foreign citizens. Founded in 1930, Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics is the state university specializing in economics in Eastern Ukraine, performing multi-stage training of specialists with the following degrees: Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, Doctor of Philosophy, Doctor of Science. The University applies the principle of lifelong learning that consists of the system of pre-university training, undergraduate and graduate education. It also has a license for retraining and advanced training. During its existence, the University has trained specialists from 83 countries and nowadays, the University enrols more than 1,400 foreign students from 43 countries.

History of the institution dates back to July 17, 1928. National University of Civil Defence n of Ukraine is a leading educational institution of the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine which has the IV-th accreditation level of Ukrainian Ministry of Education and Science. Nowadays the university is one of the most prestigious and oldest Fire and Rescue profile educational institutions not only in Ukraine but also in CIS countries. Today the university provide all types of training on all educational levels for personnel of the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine, civil youth and foreign citizens.

National Technical University “Kharkov Polytechnic Institute” (NTU “KhPI) was founded in 1885. NTU “KhPI” is one of the oldest universities in Ukraine that prepares professionals in more than 100 specialties. The integration of science and education has steadily provided a weighty breakthrough for NTU “KPI” both in training the engineering personnel and in research activities along with high rating and leading positions among institutions of higher education in Ukraine. In 2000 the university was granted a national status and in 2010 it became a self-governing (autonomous) National Research University. Today NTU “KhPI” is among the leading educational and research centers within the higher education system in Ukraine. During its life the University gave training to about 200 000 specialists, including more than 4000 professionals from 94 countries all over the world.

National Aerospace University "KhAI” - the only one in the Ukraine and one of Europe's largest aerospace universities, which trains highly qualified engineers in all areas of aerospace science and technology, information technology, radio systems, control systems, economics and management, etc. University is accredited as an educational institution of highest (IV) level.

Luhansk National Agrarian University is a higher level educational establishment III- IV accreditation level, state form of ownership. It prepares specialists of higher educational level, according the qualification of bachelor, specialist, master, PhD master in 15 specialties for fields of national economy of Ukraine and foreign countries.

Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts (KSADA) is one of the oldest art educational establishments in Ukraine. In the beginning of the 19th century the mission of art education was carried on by Kharkiv University after it was founded in 1805. The University and its founder V. Karazin made a major contribution to the outspread of art knowledge all over Slobozhanshchina. KSADA is the only higher educational establishment which prepares designers of manufactured goods, specialists in such spheres as graphic design, interior designing, design of decorative textiles and clothes, commercial and industrial advertising, corporate look, and packing.

Kharkiv University of Humanities "People's Ukrainian Academy" is a private university that has the highest IV accreditation level in Ukraine and trains economists, sociologists and translators. After the course completion, students get a state-certified diploma.
