National University "Odessa Maritime Academy" is a maritime college in Odessa, Ukraine. Over the years the University has trained nearly 40,000 professionals for the navy of Ukraine, and foreign countries. The system of ship's crew training is in compliance with the requirements of the International Convention of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW -78/ 95) and other international conventions which give graduates the right to work on all types of vessels of native and foreign companies.

National university “Odessa Law Academy” is a leading center of education and science in the South of Ukraine. It is a state university under Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine’s license, which has a right to provide the education for students from foreign countries. National University “Odesa Law Academy” has the highest in Ukraine (IV) accreditation level. The main activity purposes are ensuring conditions required for persons in order to obtain higher education and scientific research in legal and political spheres. 17000 students are getting education on specialties – Law, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Public Administration, Intellectual Property and Mass Communication preparing to work in public authorities, international organizations, and business sphere. On base of the University there is also PhD program in Law and Political Science. NU “OLA” is the only one in Ukraine, where students have possibility to study legal disciplines in 5 languages: Ukrainian, Russian, English, German and French. The University has a great experience in education and research internalization and experience in participation in international programs and projects. Academy has well-established traditions and a substantial experience in training specialists for foreign countries. Izmail State University for the Humanities trains specialists in educational levels «bachelor», «master». At the four departments there are almost students in 23 specialties, including: Ukrainian language and Literature, History, Social Pedagogy, Preschool Education, Elementary Education, Fine Arts, Musical Arts, Applied Psychology, Physical Education, Language and Literature (English, German, French, Russian, Romanian, Bulgarian) Technological education and technology, Economics and Business, Tourism, Informatics, Documentation and information activities, Business, trade and exchange activities, Translation (English, German, French) and so on. At present the purpose of educational activities of Izmail State University of Humanities is training a new generation able to work under the conditions of integration of Ukraine into Europe and compete at the global labor market. Izmail State University of Humanities offers the possibility of obtaining a double diploma, internship abroad at universities in Europe, as well as the introduction of elements of distance learning system.

The International Humanitarian University was founded on August 20, 2002 as a non-state higher education institution with collective ownership and has the fourth level accreditation. The university started with only hundred students in 2003, and now has about 3700, students from many different parts of the World. Odessa International Humanitarian University consists a few faculties, 2 institutes and 17 departments. It also has a preparatory faculty for the incoming foreign students. Excellent european education in Ukraine. International Humanitarian University is one of the most modern universities in Ukraine and is one of the cheapest universities in Europe. Ukrainian Academy of Printing is a Ukrainian academy in Lviv. Specialist’s training for printing branch in Ukraine started in 1930 in the School of Printing Art founded by Stefan Kulzhenko. In 1917 in Kyiv was founded Ukrainian Art Academy, the first in the history of Ukraine artistic educational establishment with the graphic workshop.

The Mykola Lysenko Lviv National Music Academy – one of the oldest musical institutions of higher education in Central and Eastern Europe. The origin of the Mykola Lysenko LNMA reaches the end of XVIII century. and is associated with the names of Joseph Elsner (teacher of F.Chopin) and younger son of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart – Franz Xaver Mozart. Their educational and social activities laid the foundation for the establishment in 1853, the Conservatory of Galician Musical Society.

The Lviv Banking Institute of the NBU Banking University, (Kyiv) is a economically specialized establishment that provides training of highly-qualified specialists for financial-credit and banking institutions. The Lviv Institute of Banking started its activity in 1940 as the L’viv financial-credit technical school. In 2010 the institute celebrated the 70th anniversary of its foundation. The main purpose of its activity is the training of a highly-educated personality – a professional, able to think strategically and implement original and fruitful ideas to life, endowed with the best cultural and spiritual qualities, responsibility, professional competence, national consciousness and patriotism.

UNFU is the only Ukraine’s higher educational forestry-oriented institution which trains professionals in a wide range of specialties for forest sector as well as related fields of Ukraine’s economy. The University conducts fundamental and applied scientific research on topical sectored and complex interdisciplinary problems of the social, ecological and economic development of Ukraine.

Today Lviv University of Business and Law (LUBL) - higher education institutions of III - IV level of accreditation, preparing specialists of educational programs "Bachelor" and "Master". Research and teaching potential of the University up to 24 doctors and 53 candidates of sciences. LUBL high levels of computer technology, the development of modern information technology in management and training.

Being the oldest and largest academic technical educational institution of Ukraine and Eastern Europe Lviv Polytechnic National University is celebrating its glorious 200th anniversary. The University traces its roots from Imperial-Royal Real School in Lviv founded in 1816 that soon became a well-known scientific, intellectual and educational centre, the place where national culture, freedom and democracy were cherished. Today Lviv Polytechnic National University comprises 16 academic institutes, as well as the Institute of Distance Education and the International Institute of Education, Culture and Relations with Diaspora, 10 colleges, 90 research, education and testing laboratories. At present the University trains more than 35 000 students and more than 2000 professionals. The results of the expert rating show that recently Lviv Polytechnic has been among the top 5 higher educational institutions of Ukraine. Lviv Trade and Economic University is a higher educational institution of the IV level of accreditation, located in Lviv. It was founded on March 7, 1816. One of the leading economic universities in Ukraine, a major center of economic science and education in Western Ukraine.
It is part of the structure and is subordinate to the Central Union of Consumer Societies of Ukraine (Ucoopsoyuz). Upon graduation, the university issues a state diploma. On the full-time and part-time forms of study, the university prepares bachelors, specialists and masters in more than 50 specializations. The training of highly qualified scientific personnel through postgraduate studies in eight specialties of an economic profile and doctoral studies in three specialties is underway. There are three specialized dissertation defense councils.

Lviv State University of Physical Culture – higher educational institution of IV accreditation level, was founded in 1946. The educational process at the University is carried out 25 departments, employing 34 professors, doctors of science and 141 candidates of Sciences, Associate Professor, 50 masters of sports and masters of sports of international class, 23 referees of national and international categories, 7 honored workers of physical culture and sport, 2 honored educator of Ukraine, 1 Honored Scientist of Ukraine, 13 honored coaches of Ukraine, Honored teacher of Ukraine, honored worker of culture of Ukraine. Among more than 20 thousand graduates of Lviv State University of Physical Culture are more than 400 honored coaches, honored teachers, honored workers of physical culture of Ukraine, as well as over 200 winners and prize-winners of Olympic games, World and European Championships. Lviv State University of Life Safety is a leading higher educational institution of Ukraine in the sphere of human safety. University is a member of European Fire Service Colleges Association (EFSCA), an organization which deals with human safety. Throughout its existence our institution has trained more than 30 thousand professionals.

Lviv National University of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnologies named after S.Z. Gzhytskyj is the oldest veterinary university in Eastern Europe, which combines ancient academic traditions and innovative technologies, providing quality education in specialties «Veterinary Medicine» (masterʼs degree, Ph.D., D.Sc.), «Management» and «Marketing» (bachelorʼs degree).

Ivan Franko National University of Lviv is a classical higher educational establishment with powerful scientific schools, old traditions and modern innovation approaches. Its principal aim is to provide high educational and scientific standards, cultural, social needs of a person, the society and state in the process of training highly qualified specialists. The University activity is formed on the grounds of preserving Ukrainian culture and traditions, developing national consciousness and identity.

Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU) is a private institution for education and research. UCU offers undergraduate degrees in: Theology, History, Culture Studies, Philology, Social Pedagogy, Psychology, Sociology, Computer Science; graduate degrees in: Theology, History, Social Pedagogy, Journalism, Media Communications, Public Administration, Clinical Psychology (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Clinical Psychology (Psychodynamic Therapy), Data Science, Human Rights, Physical Therapy, Ergotherapy; postgraduate studies in: History and Archeology, Theology. Drohobych Ivan Franko State Pedagogical University is one of the most significant higher educational establishments of Galicia. The history of Lviv Medical University goes back to 1661. Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University is one of the oldest and biggest medical universities in Ukraine with the IV level of accreditation. Beginning from 1961 University provides education for foreign citizens. During 50 years over 2,5 thousand doctors and pharmacists - foreigners have got education here and have been working successfully as doctors and pharmacists in many countries of the world. Education is provided in Ukrainian, Russian Language, and since 1997 the teaching of foreign students in English has been launched and is rapidly developing.

University of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine is one of the largest educational institutions in terms of territory and developed infrastructure, which is equipped to European standards in the Irpin park zone. NUDFSU builds a strong qualification base for fiscal service employees across Ukraine. During its existence, the educational institution has trained about 70 thousand specialists.
Having gone through a difficult but successful path: a technical college - college - institute - academy - National Academy - university - a school with a long history has become a unique institution of higher education of Ukraine at the beginning of the third millennium.
The university has established constructive scientific relations with a number of international organizations, educational and scientific institutions of France, Spain, Poland, USA, Germany, Russia, Croatia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, South Korea and other countries.
The university has created a powerful material and technical base, which includes modern educational buildings, equipped with modern technical means of teaching lecture rooms, dormitories, sports complex with gyms, canteens, youth cafes, medical center, residential complex for workers and teachers. There are 9 reading rooms for students and cadets.
Within the walls of the institution of higher education there is a profile training of specialists: tax specialists, customs officers, economists, lawyers, accountants, auditors, analysts, managers, IT specialists, journalists, psychologists, rehabilitators, etc. at the first (bachelor's) and second (master's) levels of higher education in accordance with the requirements of the modern labor market.
The university enrolls more than 4,500 students (3023 full-time higher education students on a full-time basis; 1486 higher education full-time students on the correspondence form).

The State Institution “Institute of neurosurgery n. acad. A. Romodanov NAMS of Ukraine” is the leading institution in Ukraine in the specialty of neurosurgery. In terms of scientific and educational activity, the institute provides clinical residency, a graduate school and information and training courses. There is a teaching staff of 3 academics, 2 assistant academics, 15 professors, 34 doctors and 77 PhDs. It specialises in maintaining the current standard and improving the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries of the central and peripheral nervous system, cardiovascular diseases, stroke, tumors, traumatic lesions, the effects of inflammation and abnormalities of the brain and spinal cord, pain syndromes, lesions of cranial and peripheral nerves and cerebral palsy. It is also a leading scientific research centre for the improvement of existing methods and development of new methods of diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the nervous system, including: • diagnostic, surgical and combined treatment of tumours of the brain and spinal cord and the study of their molecular genetic features; • pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of central and and peripheral nervous system injury and its consequences; • surgical treatment of vascular pathology of the brain; • functional and restorative neurosurgery; • surgical treatment of spinal injuries, spinal cord and its roots; • treatment of chronic pain syndromes;; • treatment of nervous system defects and hydrocephalus in children; • rehabilitation of neurosurgical patients; • surgical and combined treatment of epilepsy resistant to standard treatments, and Parkinson's disease; • study the mechanisms and effectiveness of the embryonic nervous tissue, neurogenic and mesenchymal stem cells in the experiment in the pathology of the nervous system; • neuroimmunology; and • radiosurgery.
